Šent Janž is a place, that after the Treaty of Saint-Germain belonged to Yugoslavia and was situated in the administrative region Gornji grad.
Šent Janž was formerly part of the German Empire. In the German Empire, the place was called Johanni bei Rietz. The place is now called Šentjanž and belongs to Slovenia.
