Girnkaliai is a place, that after the Versailles Treaty belonged to Lithuania and was situated in the administrative region Klaipėda.
Girnkaliai was formerly part of the German Empire. In the German Empire, the place was called Girngallen-Matz. The place is now called Girkaliai and belongs to Lithuania.
