Dziemiany is a place, that after the Versailles Treaty belonged to Poland and was situated in the administrative region Kościerzyna.
Dziemiany was formerly part of the German Empire. In the German Empire, the place was called Sophienwalde, Kr. Berent (Westpr.). The place is now called Dziemiany and belongs to Poland.
