Zgornji Gabernik is a place, that after the Treaty of Saint-Germain belonged to Yugoslavia and was situated in the administrative region Šmarje.
Zgornji Gabernik was formerly part of the German Empire. In the German Empire, the place was called Oberbuchheim. The place is now called Zgornji Gabrnik and belongs to Slovenia.
