Węgorzyn is a place, that after the Versailles Treaty belonged to Poland and was situated in the administrative region Wąbrzeźno.
Węgorzyn was formerly part of the German Empire. In the German Empire, the place was called Wangerin, Kr. Briesen (Westpr.). The place is now called Węgorzyn and belongs to Poland.
