Wangerin is a place, that before the Versailles Treaty belonged to German Empire and was situated in the administrative region Briesen.
Wangerin was formerly part of the German Empire. In the German Empire, the place was called Wangerin, Kr. Briesen (Westpr.). The place is now called Węgorzyn and belongs to Poland.
