Schoppinitz is a place, that before the Versailles Treaty belonged to German Empire and was situated in the administrative region Kattowitz.
Schoppinitz was formerly part of the German Empire. In the German Empire, the place was called Schoppinitz O.S.. The place is now called Szopienice (Katowice-Szopienice) and belongs to Poland.
