Szmelta is a place, that after the Versailles Treaty belonged to Poland and was situated in the administrative region Wejherowo.
Szmelta was formerly part of the German Empire. In the German Empire, the place was called Schmelz. The place is now called Szmelta (Rumia-Szmelta) and belongs to Poland.
