Sorica is a place, that after the Treaty of Saint-Germain belonged to Yugoslavia and was situated in the administrative region Škofja Loka.
Sorica was formerly part of the German Empire. In the German Empire, the place was called Zarz. The place is now called Spodnja Sorica and belongs to Slovenia.
