Žitence is a place, that after the Treaty of Saint-Germain belonged to Yugoslavia and was situated in the administrative region Maribor levi breg.
Žitence was formerly part of the German Empire. In the German Empire, the place was called Seitendorf. The place is now called Žitence and belongs to Slovenia.
