Šaipai is a place, that after the Versailles Treaty belonged to Lithuania and was situated in the administrative region Klaipėda.
Šaipai was formerly part of the German Empire. In the German Empire, the place was called Scheipen-Thoms. The place is now called Šaipiai and belongs to Lithuania.
