Nova cerkev is a place, that after the Treaty of Saint-Germain belonged to Yugoslavia and was situated in the administrative region Celje.
Nova cerkev was formerly part of the German Empire. In the German Empire, the place was called Neukirchen bei Cilli. The place is now called Nova Cerkev and belongs to Slovenia.
