Mikitaj is a place, that 1945 belonged to Soviet Union and was situated in the administrative region Pagėgiai/Pagegjaj.
Mikitaj was formerly part of the German Empire. In the German Empire, the place was called Miekiten. The place is now called Mikytai and belongs to Lithuania.
