Kowalewo is a place, that after the Versailles Treaty belonged to Poland and was situated in the administrative region Wąbrzeźno.
Kowalewo was formerly part of the German Empire. In the German Empire, the place was called Schönsee, Kr. Briesen (Westpr.). The place is now called Kowalewo Pomorskie and belongs to Poland.
